Recently, I was asked to be a guest on MsPerryLive, a public access television show in the Charlotte, NC viewing area to discuss hair. When asked to be a guest I was excited and humbled all in one. TV Host, LaShonda Perry, is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and was introduced to the production side of television post college. Through the use of her public access television show, MsPerryLive, LaShonda looks to give up and coming artists and small business owners in Charlotte, NC an outlet for positive exposure.
ON SET!!
Prior to tapping the show, LaShonda scheduled a couple of touchbase meetings to develop key discussion points which were of interest to her viewers. We developed a working dialogue which captured 
approximately 30 minutes of overall discussion on hair care and addressed pre-submitted questions from her viewers. Working with LaShonda was an awesome experience because she truly puts a lot of effort in her shows to ensure her guests have a wonderful and positive experience.
On the day of tapping I arrived early and LaShonda had refreshments waiting! She gave me a tour of the facility and provided a brief overview of the history and purpose of Public Access Television. Being there to share my knowledge about hair care I in turn received valuable knowledge and understanding of public access TV.
