Many people always want to know, “What is the SECRET to hair growth?” There is no real big secret to hair growth; in fact, the primary driver of hair growth is no secret at all. Attaining and maintaining positive hair growth starts from the inside first. Ensuring you are a healthy individual, both physically and emotionally, will result in healthier growing hair.
One of the key ways to promote positive health from the inside-out is to be more conscious about what you feed your body. This is not to say you can’t indulge and treat yourself every now and then because we all get a sweet tooth. However, feeding your body foods that will help increase your energy level and reduce fat is a sure way of focusing on your health.
Recently, I have been introduced to juicing/green smoothies and have found that it is a great way to get in your daily dose of fruits and vegetables. As juicing has become very popular over the past few years, a quick search on the internet will produce a ton of results to educate an inquiring mind about the benefits of juicing. Numerous juicing recipes, juicing groups and tips from juicing advocates can all be found. One of my favorite juicing advocates is Simple Green Smoothies on Instagram. Depending on your taste buds and what health benefits you look to receive, they have something for everyone.
Here are a couple juicing/green smoothie recipes that are said to help promote healthy hair growth.
If you have never done juicing before and are skeptical of how it will taste, I say give it a try because you may be pleasantly surprised!
