Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting Abby who is a member of The Sandbox organization located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Sandbox is a non-profit organization which serves families with children fighting cancer and other life altering illnesses.
I was introduced to Abby and The Sandbox through photographer Ebony Stubbs of Rae Images after volunteering to participate in Abby’s Sweet 16 photoshoot. Getting to know Abby and her fight was a rewarding experience that I am grateful to have had. Below are a couple links that capture her courageous story and tells more about her condition.

Abby’s Sweet 16 photoshoot was nothing short of AMAZING! Abby has an awesome “DIVA” personality filled with laughter that brought so much spark to the glam session. Working alongside professional make-up artist Lisa Her, we were able to sweeten up Abbys hair and face to enhance her beauty as she welcomes her transition from young girl to a young woman!
