What I Asked Es\u00e9 \u2014 And What She Shared<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. “How did you get into making wedding dresses?”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She smiled, instantly going back to the early days. She told me she began designing formal gowns for friends and family while she was still in grade school \u2014 never wedding gowns, just evening wear. One of her longtime clients told her, \u201cYou\u2019re going to make my wedding dress one day.\u201d She laughed it off, explaining she had never made a bridal gown before. But the client didn\u2019t budge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I want you to do exactly what you do\u2026 just in white,”<\/em> the client told her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without hesitation, she said: “The financial commitment.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That answer was so real. As an entrepreneur myself, I know funding your own dream is terrifying. No outside investors. No blueprint. Just grit, faith, and late nights hoping it\u2019ll pay off. We both knew what it meant to bet on yourself \u2014 when your heart says go, but your bank account says, \u201cUmmm girl, you sure about that!?\u201d I remind myself, YES – Hebrews 11:1.<\/p>\n\n\n
